My Visit to Transpose

I have dressed off and on since childhood, trying on whatever I could find – with long periods where I had no
chance to dress at all. It was after such a long quiet period that I married and I don’t think I thought much
about dressing at that time. But most of us know that dressing is in the blood and by the mid 90s I began to
buy my own clothes: I have never looked back. Unable to dress satisfactorily at home I have enjoyed using a
couple of dressing services and on being recommended Trans-pose, I checked the website. I knew that I just
had to try the 5* service and I could not resist spending the next day as secretary. I booked immediately.

Having read all the reviews I was not at all nervous about approaching Trans-pose when the day finally
arrived. The only anxieties that I had were: would something crop up to prevent me going? (and it almost did)
and would it live up to the expectation? It did. Teela’s warmth, understanding and experience were evident
from the outset (and in exchanging emails before my visit I had already been impressed by how she went out
of her way to make things easier).

The other services I have used have their good points but neither offered the combination of facilities and the
breadth of expertise that Teela possesses including her communication skills and artistry in make-up and
photography. I still have a lot to learn about being a model (always a reluctant photographic subject) and the
responsibility for any uncomfortable looks in the pictures is all mine. Teela’s attention to detail was remarkable
and I thoroughly enjoyed trying the range of styles. She gave me the confidence to take the opportunity to
meet other girls and to go out in Manchester after my days at Trans-pose and I will always be grateful.
